The Kangaroo is the largest tent from Alpino, suitable for 3 to a maximum of 4 people. The stylish retro styling yet with all conveniences and space; the Kangaroo is a successful design in every way that is timeless and a lifelong purchase. The Alpino Kangaroo was designed in the 1980s for expedition members in Congo, so they could comfortably camp for a longer period.

The Kangaroo has mosquito nets at the front & back and an extra ventilation opening at the top of the tent, so you can always let a nice breeze through the tent. The large awning at the front provides plenty of storage space. The awning is detachable and can be set up optionally. Another great advantage is, for example, that the inner tent hangs in the outer tent, so you have more space inside and the poles are not in the way. This also makes it easier to pack the inner tent dry on rainy days. An Alpino tent can be set up in various ways to create extra shelter on warm days.

The Kangaroo tent 'simply' has an aluminum lightweight pole set with elastic, UV-resistant elastics for tensioning the tent, waterproof zippers, and comes with the necessary pegs. The groundsheet is attached to the inner tent and the outer fabric has mud flaps to keep your tent fabric nice, even after a heavy rain shower. If you are on a harder surface, you can always put stones on the mud flaps to keep them in place. The Alpino Kangaroo is available in four different colors; Crushed Berry, Smoked Oak, Seagrass, and Saffron.

The tent fabrics of the Kangaroo are made of 100% breathable cotton, which provides a pleasant climate in the tent, especially in warmer temperatures. In addition, cotton is highly resistant to UV radiation from the sun, which is normally the main cause of deterioration in tent fabric quality. Cotton is durable and can last for many years with proper maintenance. The cotton tent fabrics are also waterproof, mold-resistant, and colorfast.
