Travelling Awning

The Travelling awning is specially made for caravans and campers with a low, straight roofline. The middle roof pole has a special shape, which provides an extra 20 cm of headroom. That means you can stand comfortably under the awning even with low caravans & camper vans, and the door can also simply open.

This awning fits, among others, Eriba models Familia, Triton and Troll, as well as camper vans. The awning is available in 3 colors and 6 different sizes. The rail height of the caravan, measured from the ground, is a maximum of 210 cm. If your caravan is higher than 210 cm, choose the Trekking awning.

Awning and Frame Specifications

Ripstop Cotton

Made from indestructible Ripstop Cotton for the awnings. This cotton is strong, breathable, UV-resistant, low-maintenance, and quick-drying. A look at the fabric reveals a pattern of many small squares. This is a reinforced thread woven through the fabric, making it so strong that it is even used for Australian army tents.

Sizes, colors & side walls

The Traveling Awning is available in six different sizes and 3 colors, and can easily be expanded with side walls. The walls are universal for left and right and simply click onto the awning frame. The side walls are available in three versions: solid, with window, or with mesh. At Glaravans, the awning always comes with a lightweight aluminum frame & Quick fix tensioners, so you can tension the awning easily and quickly. 

Although the awning fits almost all caravans, a number of sizes are particularly suitable for certain types of caravans & camper vans.

Travelling side walls

The side walls are quick and easy to hang from the aluminum frame. That way, in the evening or when it's windy, you can create a bit more shelter for extra comfort. Three different side walls are available that you here can order.

Sizing of the Travelling Awning

For this Travelling Awning, there are six available sizes: 240, 260, 300, 340, 360, 400. These sizes refer to the number of centimeters for the straight section of the  keder rail (240cm, 300cm, etc). Measure the straight section of the keder rail to choose the best-fitting awning. Choose the version closest to the distance you measured. 

Example 1: Did you measure 290 cm? Then choose the Trekking 300.
Example 2: Is the length 375 cm? Then choose the Trekking 360.
Please note! A size smaller can always work, is the 300 out of stock? Then the 260 can also work.

TIP! The Travelling awning has 'pockets' in the fabric where the poles are inserted on the caravan side. So you do not need awning eyes or fastening clips.
