Glaravans has been nominated for the sustainability award in the most sustainable camping equipment category! The circular caravan project has been dormant for a long time, but will now finally see the light this autumn. If you win, the sustainability prize offers the opportunity to present the caravan to a large audience and to be present at the Camping & Caravan Fair in Utrecht.
Glaravans are modern caravans with a vintage look; old caravans that have been modernized to last for many years. Basically, Glaravans are already based on reuse; we are now building a concept caravan that is completely designed with the aim of sustainability and circularity. This caravan will be ready at the end of September 2023.
The basis of this caravan is a Yvonne Mostard from 1972 that has been completely rebuilt with modern techniques. The construction is made with sustainable and circular materials to minimize the burden on the environment with the modernization. The construction method, the reuse of materials and the modernization make this caravan a serious alternative to a completely newly produced caravan.
