SMV 24 LSR - 1977
We were commissioned by Glaravans to pay tribute to the original SMV. By largely using the original elements, we have kept the interior mostly intact while adding modern Glaravans technology.
This SMV lacks nothing; with climate control operable via the App and a new chassis with mover, this seemingly old beast is packed with contemporary features. A practical long sleeper with a V-cut for easy exit, a compost toilet, and a cozy seating area complete this caravan. The caravan has a completely new chassis, which means it no longer has electric brakes but modern technology.

- This SMV is on paper the first official Glaravan due to a completely new chassis.
- The new chassis has a surge brake instead of the original unreliable electric brakes.
- The exterior is completely newly clad with aluminum due to the corrosion that occurred in the aluminum.
- Much of the original wood & cabinet structures have remained, sanded and oiled.
- Although the interior looks 'vintage', the caravan is filled with contemporary technology.
